The Better Bath Forum

Welcome to the Better Bath Forum

A Better Bath

The Better Bath Forum has been set up for the people of Bath to have their say on important topical issues affecting the City.

We believe that Bath needs a place where key local issues can be discussed at an early stage, so that people’s views can be taken into account while the position is still fluid.

In too many cases, we think that detailed proposals get worked up privately without the benefit of public discussion. When the proposal is published, there is opposition and bad feeling, delay and increased cost. Outside expertise and investment in Bath’s future are discouraged.

Bath needs regeneration in many ways, and its heritage and environment must be protected. The issues cannot be balanced without public discussion.

We are setting up the Better Bath Forum to provide a mechanism for this debate, and hope you will join in the meetings.
